New Product Recognizing Grinder (P.R.G.)
To ensure the optimal grind size for each coffee drink, JURA engineers have developed the Product Recognizing Grinder (P.R.G.). This electronically controlled high-performance grinder adjusts to the pre-defined grind size in a fraction of a second, much faster and more frequently than could be done manually. It allows for a very fine grind for small coffee beverages as well as a very coarse grind for special coffee drinks. Coffee enthusiasts need not worry, as the adjustment occurs automatically with each beverage preparation. Additionally, the grind size can be manually selected using the aroma selection function if desired.
Cold brewing – exceptional freshness
Thanks to the cold extraction process, the Z10 prepares truly delicious cold brew coffee drinks. Unlike many traditional cold coffee beverages which are typically made by cooling down hot coffee, the Z10's extraction process uses cold water, pulsed under high pressure through coarsely ground coffee. The result is a natural, invigorating, and refreshing coffee, with fruit aromas that can be enjoyed without any bitter aftertaste. Without such a preparation method, it would be just cold coffee in a cup.
Eighth-generation extraction chamber
